The study compared the kettlebell swing, Romanian deadlift, reverse hip raise, stability ball hamstring curl, glute hamstring raise with and without a machine, seated leg curl, prone leg curl machine, and single arm single leg Romanian deadlift. The three winners were the kettlebell swing, single-arm/single-leg Romanian deadlifts, and prone-leg curls! If you are like me you want to get in and out of the gym so rotate through these three lifts as they can be used interchangeably.
