Research just came out suggesting that restricting your eating to an eight-hour window can increase your risk of cardiovascular death by 91%! This is significant and should not be taken lightly considering a lot of YouTube videos and health coaches on podcasts are pushing people toward intermittent fasting. Yes, you may lose weight but it is not worth the SIGNIFICANT risk to your heart! What to do instead would be to track your calories and restrict them by a few hundred calories a day. I will eat more on big workout days than when I do not do much! Use food as a helper, not a destroyer of your body and goals!
