Cold Exposure=Improved Sleep

Writer: Sam MaltbySam Maltby

The ideal temperature to sleep in is between 60 to 67 degrees Fahrenheit. This helps you fall asleep fast and has been shown to help with insomnia. Our body temperature decreases right before we fall asleep so a cold room expediates this process. A warning here is to not go below 60 degrees Fahrenheit as this can affect your heart. Use blankets and clothing to stay comfortable. Since everyone is different play around with the temperature to find your ideal setting! Happy sleeping!

Thank you! Blew my mind too! My fitness watched cued me in that there may be something with cold and sleep. I had way better stats in winter vs summer.
